Digital Magicians Studios LLC ("we", "us", or "our") built the HA Studio Pro app as a commercial application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. This page informs users of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the app.

HA Studio Pro is a local-first app. It connects directly to your own Home Assistant instance on your local network. We do not operate any servers that receive or store your Home Assistant data, dashboard layouts, or personal information.

1. Information We Collect

HA Studio Pro collects and stores the following — all on your device:

• Home Assistant Connection Details: Your Home Assistant server URL and long-lived access token are stored locally on your device using secure on-device storage. This information is never transmitted to our servers.
• Dashboard Layouts & Preferences: Your custom dashboard configurations, card arrangements, widget settings, and page layouts are saved locally on your device. No dashboard data is uploaded to external servers.
• AI Assistant (Jarvis) Queries: When you use the built-in Jarvis AI assistant, your text or voice commands are sent to a third-party AI service for processing. Please see Section 4 for details.
• Camera & Security Feeds: Camera streams are fetched directly from your Home Assistant instance and displayed in real time. No video or image data is captured, stored, or transmitted by the app.
• Device Information: We may collect anonymized crash reports and device type information (e.g., iOS/Android version) solely to diagnose bugs and improve app stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To connect the app to your local Home Assistant server
• To save and restore your custom dashboard layouts and widget settings
• To power the Jarvis AI assistant and execute smart home commands you request
• To display live camera feeds and sensor data from your Home Assistant entities
• To improve app performance and fix reported crashes

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Local Network Access

HA Studio Pro requires access to your local network to communicate with your Home Assistant instance. The app may connect over both HTTP and HTTPS depending on how your Home Assistant server is configured. This connection is made solely between your device and your own Home Assistant server — we have no access to this traffic.

4. AI Assistant (Jarvis)

HA Studio Pro includes a customizable AI assistant named Jarvis that allows you to control your smart home, automate routines, and get answers — using natural language from within your dashboard.

• When you submit a command or question to Jarvis, the text of your query is sent to a third-party AI provider for processing. This may include contextual information about your request (e.g., room names or device names you refer to).
• Jarvis responses and AI interactions are not stored by us beyond the duration of your active session.
• Your Home Assistant entity states or personal identification details are not automatically included in AI queries unless you explicitly reference them in your message.
• You may configure or disable the AI assistant from within the app settings at any time.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies of the underlying AI service provider for further details on how your queries may be processed.

5. Third-Party Services

The app may interact with the following third-party services:

• Home Assistant: Your own self-hosted or cloud-connected Home Assistant instance. We have no control over its data handling. See home-assistant.io/privacy.
• AI Provider (Jarvis): Text queries submitted to the Jarvis assistant are processed by a third-party AI service. Only the content of your typed or spoken command is shared.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: Purchase and subscription validation is handled entirely by Apple and Google. We do not receive or store your payment details.
• Bambu Lab Printers: If you use the 3D printer monitoring feature, the app connects to your Bambu printer via Home Assistant. No print data is shared with us.

6. Data Storage & Security

• All dashboard layouts and connection credentials are stored locally on your device.
• No personally identifiable data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Camera streams and sensor data flow directly between your device and your Home Assistant instance.
• We follow industry-standard practices to protect any data the app handles.

7. Children's Privacy

HA Studio Pro is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights

• You can clear all stored dashboard layouts and preferences from within the app settings.
• You can remove your Home Assistant credentials from the app at any time.
• You can disable the Jarvis AI assistant from within the app.
• You may uninstall the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.
• You may contact us to request information about data handling or request deletion.

9. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
